CE Marking

The CE marking (also known as CE mark) is a mandatory conformity mark on many products placed on the single market in the European Economic Area (EEA). The CE marking certifies that a product has met EU consumer safety, health or environmental requirements. CE stands for Conformité Européenne, "European conformity" in French. Benefits of CE Marking The CE marking is a kind of trade passport for the European marketplace: it allows the manufacturer to freely circulate their product throughout the 30 countries of the European Economic Area (EEA). The great benefit for manufacturers is that there is now only one set of requirements and procedures to comply with in designing and manufacturing a product for the entire EEA. ISO 27001

ISO 27001 : 2005 Certification ISO 27001, titled \"Information Security Management - Specification With Guidance for Use\", is the replacement for BS7799-2. It is intended to provide the foundation for third party audit, and is \'harmonized\' with other management standards, such as ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. The basic objective of the standard is to help establish and maintain an effective information management system, using a continual improvement approach.
